Data Synchronization
Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and authorized to Ecotopia App. Follow below steps to synchronize the data from the devices to the cloud server.
Step 1:
Step 2:
Step 3:
Step 4:
Note
If a large volume of data is stored on the device, such as raw acceleration data or other data types collected over an extended period, the data synchronization process may take multiple rounds to complete. Each round takes approximately 16 minutes. In such cases, please be patient and try one or more additional data synchronization attempts to ensure that all data has been successfully synchronized.
If your mobile phone is not connected to the internet during data synchronization, the synchronized data will be temporarily stored on your phone. However, this data cannot be automatically uploaded to the server even after your phone regains internet access. To upload the stored data, you will need to perform a manual upload once your phone is connected to the internet. Follow these steps:
- Open the Ecotopia App and navigate to User > Additional Features > Data Synchronization.
- Tap on Upload.
- Select Upload All to initiate the upload process for all stored data.
This manual upload process ensures that the data synchronized while offline is securely transferred to the server once an internet connection is available.
